When I was pregnant, on bedrest, and still with only happy endings in sight, I signed up for every baby freebie and sample I could find online. Some of the samples arrived shortly before Charlotte. The rest are still coming.
Does anyone know how to get myself off of these lists? At least weekly I get a sample or book of coupons or a "feeding guide" or "sleeping guide". Congratulations! You should be sleeping through the night by now, and getting ready to move on to solids.
Today se.ars invited me to a special Baby's First Christmas photography session, and He.inz sent coupons for stage 1 baby foods.
It doesn't really upset me. I don't break down at the mailbox when this stuff turns up in the mail. It just feels like a waste to throw it all out. The edible samples I've donated to the food bank, but the paper is just being tossed (recycled, but still).
I've scoured the mailings for an email address or 1800 number to call to remove my name. No luck. They must really want to keep me on the list.
At least the email updates "Congratulations! Your baby is beginning to smile!" were easy to unsubscribe from.
Anyone have ideas? Or is it easier to wait it out (there can't be that much more, can there?).

EWWW I'm so sorry. I get stuff like that also. And phone calls! Those drive me CRAZY! I wish we could just post a note to the whole world! (((HUGS)))
I tagged you in my blog.. take a look and play along!
OH No I don't if you hear of any let me know because I did the same and I am still getting stuff 4 years later.
Sorry :(
yes, my first baby.centre email after we lost hope was a kick in the guts - "congratulations, you now have a one week old!" thankfully, i wasn't subscribed to anything that came via snail mail.
I can't believe they don't have any contact information on that stuff. If it comes from Sears, can you call Sears's general customer service line? Try & think where you signed up for stuff.
I was soooo fortunate... I entered all kinds of draws at the local maternity wear store & also gave my name & due date to Sears. I got a can of formula delivered to me while I was at home recovering from my stillbirth. There WAS a 1-800 number in the package, & I promptly called them, explained what had happened & asked to be taken off their list. The woman apologized & I never received another thing from anyone. Thank God.
I saved the can of formula for awhile but gave it to the food bank before it expired.
I've recently started getting baby emails from BabyCenter, I think it's because Sean would have been born by now. They're all emails about tips for taking care of a newborn. I think I managed to unsubscribe from that today, so hopefully I won't get anymore emails. It was weird because I thought I unsubscribed from everything when Sean died back in April.
Good luck getting yourself off the lists. It's hard to have to be reminded that Charlotte isn't with you in such an inpersonal way.
I got emails and samples from Sim.i.lac. I wrote them a nasty email, and they actually responded appropriately and nicely and took me off their list. They said they got my name from babies.r.us, so you might want to try starting there. They seem to be the culprit in selling the names...
